I’ve been getting a lot of email from my last blog entry – turns out that pretty much everyone just wants QC to be easier and more time effective. More back end rule processing and less work for the QC Underwriter. Now before you all email me and tell me that I’m phasing you out – that is not the case. The need for experienced, intelligent QC analysts will always be there – but if the QC system can automatically recalculate Income then tell you if it is calculated correctly by the original underwriter – well that just saves you time in the end. There is a saying out there –that is overused I know – but I’m going to use it again. Work Smarter not Harder – I think we can all agree that is where the future of QC is going – now we just have to figure out what Smarter is.
